What is with these smoothie bowls? They are picture perfect but absolutely NOT healthy for you! They are so full of fruit they could feed a small village! Who's eating that much fruit?! They are loaded with sugar, yes fruit is fructose=sugar! You may be getting some nutrients, but basically it's a micronutrient-ish sugar bowl. If you want a healthy gut, balanced hormones, level blood sugar and reach your target weight, swap the sugar bowls, ahem I mean smoothie bowls, for a bowl filled with wilted spinach, pastured eggs cooked in ghee and avocado. You'll stay full MUCH longer and won't have a crazy blood sugar crash leaving you craving more fruit, sugar and carbs! It's a very unhealthy cycle! The pics are pretty, but the effects aren't.

•1 cup Unsweetened almond milk
•1 scoop vital proteins collagen
•Vanilla protein powder
•1 tbsp. Brain Octane
•1/4 C wild blueberries
•1 tsp. Green banana flour
Blend all ingredients together.
Top with cacao nibs, hemp seeds and shaved cacao butter if you insist on it looking beautiful.
